Colucci, Michael – 2025, April 10 – Motion in Limine: Prevent State from Referencing Blood Tests

The defense asked the judge to prevent the State from bringing up the red dot on Sara’s phone. In the 2018 trial, Deputy Dean Kokinda of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s office testified that the red dot on Sara’s phone was human blood – but Andy Savage argued that the State didn’t explain the testing of the blood nor the qualifications of the deputy enough.
