The defense did not want the State to mention that the necklace Sara Lynn was wearing the night she died was damaged by the defense during cross-examination. In response (see State Motion for Instruction Regarding Necklace from May 22nd, 2025) the State wanted to show a photo of the necklace from before it was damaged, and say that it was not damaged by the State.
