☀️ We now have the affidavit for Angie Solomon, the Franklin, Tennessee, woman who was arrested on Friday for allegedly hiring a hitman to kill her ex husband and former WSMV anchor Aaron Solomon.

☀️ We first reported on the Solomon case in late 2023 as Angie was seeking answers for what caused Grant’s death when his truck allegedly rolled over and killed him in July 2020, just one month after his 18th birthday. Aaron Solomon, Grant’s father, was the only witness to the incident. Angie and Aaron’s daughter, who is now 18, has publicly alleged that her father molested her when she was a child. Aaron Solomon has never been charged and has denied all accusations.

☀️ On April 11, 2025, Angie was arrested by the Franklin Police Department for Solicitation to Commit 1st Degree Murder. According to the affidavit filed in General Sessions Court, Angie allegedly met with an undercover officer in a parking lot “for the express purpose of hiring him to murder her ex-husband, Aaron Solomon.”

☀️ The affidavit goes on to say that Angie provided the registration to her vehicle as a kind of collateral and said that Aaron’s death “would provide her daughter access to a trust fund.”

☀️ Angie is in the Williamson County Jail on a $500,000 bond. There is a court hearing at 9 a.m. tomorrow in Williamson County, but a deputy clerk of court just told me that she has no further information about what will go on in tomorrow’s hearing.
