Hulu Hype: Amplifying Our Mission to Give Voice to Victims!

Happy Sunday!
Thank you for your grace and patience as we took time away from True Sunlight this week to focus on a few projects we know y’all are going to appreciate.
With the Hulu series release date quickly approaching, we are feeling the effects of the anticipation and preparing so many pieces so that we’re able to amplify our mission of giving voice to victims through the media attention garnered by the show.
Included in those preparations will be marketing assets, True Sunlight segments, COJ interviews with key players, a public relations blitz, a press tour with cast and crew, and so much more. It is going to be one of the most hectic times in our lives, but in a good way!
Unlike reporting on the actual Murdaugh saga, we are going into the next few months with a pretty clear understanding of how much attention we’ll garner and how much effort is required to focus that attention in a positive way.
To that end, we were fortunate to enlist our friend, phenomenal photographer and Editor of CH2 magazine Maggie Washo to orchestrate a Photoshoot with David and the pups which was entirely empowering.
The last photoshoot we did with Maggie was for author photos in preparation for my book release in June 2023. The photos from that were expectedly AMAZING, but it was a stressful time to say the least… with the book’s deadlines, Team Murdaugh shenanigans and all the cruelty directed at me from the targeted hate campaign.
I was so happy to enjoy the vibe of this most recent shoot – I hope you check out some of the initial photo selections on Instagram and Facebook.

This week, I am SO excited to interview the author of my new favorite book —Kate Moore who wrote The Woman They Could Not Silence: one woman, her incredible fight for freedom, and the men who tried to make her disappear.
This book has helped me keep fighting in dark times — particularly this summer where we have seen so many men get away with violence against women.
If Elizabeth Packard — the book’s inspirational heroine — can fight her way out of an insane asylum in the 1860s, we can all fight for a better justice system today.
One of my favorite quotes from the book says:
“She fought every day of her life to make things better, dedicating her life to others, wanting justice for all. She was torn down for it, her reputation ravaged. Yet she squared her shoulders and dusted herself off after every single setback. She went back out there to meet that hostile world, with her hoop skirts swishing and her brown eyes gleaming, ready to fight another day. And yes, they called her crazy. But if that’s crazy, we should stand back and admire. For just look at what “crazy” can do.”
I can’t wait to talk to Kate Moore this week about her mountains of research that went into this story, what she learned about the way mental health has been weaponized against women, and what we all should take away from the book.
In the meantime, please — survivors, women, pesky people out there, WE CAN’T GIVE UP HOPE.
Keep sharing stories of triumph. Keep exposing the truth. Keep screaming until they listen to us.
We cannot let a few setbacks defeat us.
And we MUST keep supporting and inspiring each other.
Please let us know what concepts you’d like us to discuss from the book, or ask us anything under the sun about the cases we’re covering and where we stand by emailing members@lunasharkmedia.com or submitting comments on the link below.
Next week we’ll also have all new COJ and True Sunlight episodes, and our team is producing and new Premium Dive series on Plea Deals which I am very excited about.
Lot’s to look forward to and we cannot move mountains without your support…
THANK YOU!!!!
As always, your support is immensely appreciated and keeps us motivated to expose the truth wherever it leads, give voice to victims and get the story straight.
