Josie Duda reminds us of how important it is speak up when you see something that needs to be changed. Josie noticed something about South Carolina – their Supreme Court is the ONLY state Supreme Court without a woman serving on it. And that is absurd.
Josie, 11, thought it was absurd too. She wants to be a lawyer some day. She needs to see women in the places where she wants to go. So she wrote her state senator. And she made the front page of the Rock Hill Herald.
And she learned that even 11-vear-olds can have power in their voices, so SPEAK NOW. Thank you to Elizabeth, Josie’s amazing mama, for sharing your incredible daughter with the world.
