JP Miller’s Federal Jury Selection
Update: JP Miller’s has filed a second motion for continuance which has been approved. His next hearing and trial date have been moved to the June 2026 term of court. We will update with new dates as soon as they are published.
Jury selection for Myrtle Beach Pastor JP Miller’s federal trial will be held at the McMillian Federal Building in Florence, South Carolina with the Honorable Joseph Dawson III presiding, according to court documents.
Miller, whose estranged wife Mica Francis Miller was found dead in April 2024 has pleaded not guilty to 2 federal charges of cyberstalking and lying to investigators.
JP Miller was served with divorce papers two days before Mica was found dead from a gunshot wound in a North Carolina park. Authorities ruled her death a suicide, but investigators unraveled a paper trail of evidence documenting alleged physical, emotional, sexual, medical and spiritual abuse up until her death.
A pre-trial conference — where JP Miller can enter a change of plea or request a trial — has not been rescheduled yet.
All motions to suppress or continue (delay the trial) must be submitted one week before the pretrial hearing.
